London-based label RUN has a serious knack for pattern play. Designer Varun Sharma’s love of the bright and the bold was translated into streetwear basics with a feminine edge. Streetwear silhouettes ruled Sharma’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection with bombers, overalls and sheaths encompassing an easy borrowed-from-the-boys looseness to the pieces (but realistically there’s no way the boys would give up these pieces). His muses were Amazonian – strong women with a confident, ease to the way they carry themselves. The colors seemed to pop from the hangers as textbook camouflage prints (mirroring his Amazonian muse) were revamped with tones of olive and emerald twisting around vibrant oranges. The collection is one with personality but wearable enough to seamlessly meld into the most neutral of wardrobes.
