Designer Tatsuro Horikawa, the mind behind the new line Niløs, created a quiet riot with his nomadic Spring/Summer 2016 collection. This collection, which was shot in Hokkaido, isn’t Horikawa’s first time at the rodeo – he is also behind the cult-followed label Julius.
Structuralism wears a new skin as the rigidity of boxy silhouettes find grace in a feminine color palette. Beijing-based designer Simon Gao founded his eponymous label in 2012. For over a decade he pursued a nomadic education in cities, such as Singapore and New Zealand, until he touched base at the Raffles Design Institute to procure a degree in Fashion Management.

Marta Jakubowski is a true magician. During the London Spring/Summer 2016 season, Jakubowski showed off an mélange of scientifically constructed — albeit poetically flowing — pieces like an illusion that left you wondering how the hell those garments are staying up.
“The need to fill the gap. I love what I do because it’s not easy, it’s unsettling,” says Pranav Mishra, co-founder of spunky Indian label Huemn, when asked why he began the brand. The model-esq bearded designer embarked on a fascinating sartorial journey back in 2010 with his talented classmate Shyma Shett.
Wednesday, November 25th
Born from silks and the finest of cashmeres, Munsoo Kwon has been dubbed one of the most anticipated young designers of Korea. He’s been praised from the highest of echelons — a la Pitti Immagine Uomo — for his satirical and personal take on menswear.
Founded by Ozgur Ozcelik, the Istanbul-based label OOZZ is on the rise to international expansion with their new take on the contemporary menswear industry. The design team is highly seasoned with a combined work history that includes River Island and H&M, to name a few, as well as experience in a plethora of new types of dyeing, print techniques and conceptualize designs.

London-based label RUN has a serious knack for pattern play. Designer Varun Sharma’s love of the bright and the bold was translated into streetwear basics with a feminine edge.
Friday, November 27th
The name is Désiré Kosnaye. Take note; because he’s going to be one of the biggest human fashion bombs to explode inside the future of pop styling. For Kosnaye, it isn’t about name-dropping celebrity clients. It’s about bringing emerging designers, endless possibilities and innovation to the table
A Central Saint Martins graduate, Quoï Alexander works under his namesake label in Paris. He has worked for Chanel, Mary Katrantzou and Sonia Rykiel, and truly creates pieces that take time and effort: every detail does in fact count.
Saturday, November 28th
This Spring/Summer 2016 season, designer Silvia Fado jumped into exciting territory with a footwear collection full of heels perfect for leaping. Based in Barcelona, Fado graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2014 with a Masters in Fashion Footwear.

The never-ending Seventies trend is loud and proud for Spring/Summer 2016, and Italian-born Central Saint Martins graduate Barbara Bonner is traveling back to Woodstock. In the decade that brought us maxi dresses, shearing jackets and a mass of tan suede, throw caution to the wind for the free flying earth woman.
