In Alexandra Frankø’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, restrained uptown boys were injected with vibrant hues of downtown cool. The Danish designer’s eponymous menswear label is as fresh as can be and she hasn’t even completed her bachelor’s degree yet. But don’t let Franko’s adolescence sway you — the collection speaks with a competent, seasoned voice. Zipper-laden motorcycle jackets, ranging from cropped cuts or knee-grazing lengths, were outfitted in luxurious snake skins and teal hues. Franko paired the badass jackets with sartorially savvy separates (think preppy turtle necks and slick slacks). To finish the collection, a top gun style bomber jacket was fitted with feathering and furs in a spectrum of blue hues.
