Carlos Campos’ Fall/Winter 2016 collection for New York Men’s Fashion Week seemed to blend his signature sleek, modern style with a western flair. The self-named label presented designs that that reminisced of a time when half of our country was filled with cowboys. The clothes told a Clint Eastwood-esque tale of the last frontier with pieces such as long ponchos in dark navy and khaki with each look completed with matching cowboy hats. While this may sound like a repetitious go at the rodeo, the designer did not give up his contemporary style, rather immersing the two themes together with touches such as sleek pockets and well-fitted suits. With looks like these, any man is ready for their next great adventure.
