Moohong Kim brought his traditional minimalistic, monochromatic designs to Seoul Fashion Week in his Fall/Winter 2016 collection. The dual-gender collection strays from his previous in a daring way by accenting black and white with bright colors. A black tunic is brought to life under a large collared cerulean and orange jacket and over a floral patterned brocade skirt. The voluminous silhouette featured yet another aspect of his designing prowess. Another striving piece that seems to mesh both the designer’s affinity for muted colors and floral pattern is a long gray women’s blazer, perfectly tailored and ending below the hips, accented with the floral pattern on the sleeves and collar. Moohong Kim successfully showed-off his whimsical-meets-edgy side in his latest collection.
