A Modern Man: Dozoh Autumn/Winter 2016 Campaign

Men, Fashion, Campaigns, Runway

Simplicity would never eliminate greatness. A variety of leather, including jackets, vests and harnesses, from Dozoh’s Fall/Winter 2016 Collection shares the fruitfulness of such a statement.  Chief designer, Dongwook Jo works with exaggerated silhouettes to elevate minimal design.  It’s plain to see that Dozoh emulates just how less is more.

A cherry red motorcycle jacket styled with a pair of wide-leg cropped trousers and black platform paten leather boots create a look for the future of fashion. Turtlenecks with nylon straps across the chest, full-length down coats of magnetic colors, and oversized, asymmetrical-cut, hoodies make a clear vision for a modern way of dressing. That is not to say that traditional modes of craftsmanship aren’t entirely disbanded. For who would a man be without his suit and tie?

Updates on formal attire comprised of woven details in suit jackets. On one piece, symmetrical women patterns run along the chest, merging to the first button of the jacket, while in others styles, such as a double-breasted jacket, black woven side panels lay alongside the waist and shoulders.  It seems that new designs are in the details.
