A Languid Day: Kiko Kostadinov Fall/Winter 2017 LFWM

Runway, Men, Collections, Runway

Kiko Kostadinov’s Fall 2017 collection pursued the Bulgarian-born, London-based designer’s ongoing study on the modern man’s uniform, this time with an entirely minimalist and utilitarian effect. In darker shades of black, blue and gray, and strong contrasts of maroon, this industrial workwear inspired lineup was clean, conceptual and simple – sometimes too simple. Uncomplicated elongated shirts and languid fluid trousers were at the core of this season’s rather basic offering, but cargo pockets and hand-stitched sleeve details added complexity and texture; all in all, we loved this collection for its easy and unassuming shapes.
