Some times we just want to drift away. And for Palmiers Du Mal, what perfect time to leave the woes and worries behind than for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection. Melt-worth merino wool sweaters, robes of the most luscious velvet, track jackets suited for a Florida retiree. Languid, Hefner-worthy robes and pajama shirts were a mainstay amongst the melee of visceral fabrics.
But there was an edge to the lads of leisure feel – shirts were emblazoned with “Evil Palms” slogans – hinting at the dark side of the design duo. Rubber slides boasted the acronym MDMA. Wherever the boys of Palmiers du Mal are taking us, it’s one where you can kick your feet up.
