Suiting has been, and always will be, one of the biggest power moves in the menswear world. A staple of every man and a symbol of good grooming, the suit has been played and parlayed by every man and menswear brand. But despite the mass saturation of suiting, Munson Kwon injected a surprisingly fresh take on the menswear staple. Pinstripe and chalkstripe were oversized, with dashes of crimson breaking up the traditional blue hues. Shoulders were dropped far below the tailoring norm, as were collars; both traits that carried on to the latter half of the collection, more focused on sportswear staples. The larger form-flowing silhouettes translated just as fluidly onto retro windbreakers and more casual camoflauge overcoats. A breath of fresh air, one that suits us just fine.
